How does the Rewards Mall Toolbar work?
The Rewards Mall Toolbar helps you maximize your rewards as you can:

- Instantly search hundreds of gift card and online merchants
- Receive an alert automatically when you shop online with
online merchants - you will even get the alert if you forget to start your online shopping through the Rewards Mall
- Access the Current Specials with one click
How it works:
- Install the Rewards Mall Toolbar. It's free and generally takes under a minute to
install.
- Once installed, your Rewards Mall Toolbar will be ready to use on Internet Explorer.
Can I install the Rewards Mall Toolbar on my computer?
The Rewards Mall Toolbar will operate on:
Internet Explorer 6.x+ and Firefox on Windows XP and Windows Vista
The Rewards Mall Toolbar does not appear on my browser, what should I
do?
When you initially installed the Rewards Mall Toolbar, you may have
overlooked a configuration under Internet Explorer that will allow
you to view the Rewards Mall Toolbar on your browser.
To correct this, do one or all of the following:
- On the top menu of the browser, click on "View". Choose "Toolbars"
and make sure that "Rewards Mall Toolbar" is checked. If it is checked, try
unchecking it then see if the Toolbar appears.
- On the top menu of the browser, click on "View". Choose "Toolbars" and
uncheck "Lock the Toolbars". This allows you to now select the dividers in the
browser between various toolbars, and resize the entire toolbar vertically to
make the toolbar selections appear. You can then arrange them as desired.
What does it mean if I get a file download warning when installing
the Rewards Mall Toolbar?
This simply means that your security settings are set to alert you
before any programs are installed on your computer. In this case, the dialog
box is asking you to confirm that you do, indeed, want to install the Rewards Mall
Toolbar on your computer. Click "Run" to run the toolbar installation program
and install the toolbar and it is ready to use, but iIf you'd like to save the toolbar installation program
to your computer's hard drive, select "Save" and select a folder on your hard
drive to which you want to save the file. After the file has been saved,
navigate to the folder and run the installation.
I recently upgraded to IE7 and I receive a security warning when I
try to download the Rewards Mall Toolbar. What should I do?
When installing the Rewards Mall Toolbar for the first time, you may get a warning
from one of a number of software products (firewalls, spyware, IE7, etc.) that
asks if you want to allow the software to be installed. The choices presented
to the user are often something similar to allow once, never allow, or allow
always. We suggest you choose allow always or an equivalent action. Please see
your product's Users Guide for further information on this issue.
How come even when I log in through the Rewards Mall and I access participating merchants I get the pop up message. What should I
do?
The pop-up message is a reminder that you are on a Rewards Mall Merchant. This will happen the first time you visit a participating merchant evne if you accessed the merchant through the Rewards Mall. If you accessed the merchant through the Rewards Mall simply click 'OK'.
My system is asking me to allow an Automatic Update of the Rewards Mall Toolbar.
What should I do?
You should allow it to update the software. Periodically we update the Rewards Mall Toolbar to help you find more ways to save.
How will the Rewards Mall Toolbar affect my computer?
The Rewards Mall Toolbar should have no noticeable effect on your
computer's normal functioning.
How can I change my Toolbar options?
To change the look or buttons on your toolbar click on "Options". You can then enable or disable
features, add skins, change fonts. etc.
How does the Search function work?
The toolbar lets you easily search participating merchants.
After entering your email address and a search term, click 'Search for a Merchant'. The search will
start and the name and description of all participating merchants will be searched, with all matches being displayed in your Rewards Mall.
How can I uninstall the Rewards Mall Toolbar?
Click the Rewards Mall drop-down menu on the far left hand side of the
toolbar and choose Uninstall. Once you confirm that you want to uninstall the
Rewards Mall Toolbar, it will be automatically removed from your browser and
computer.
You can also uninstall the Rewards Mall Toolbar for IE by following these
steps in order:
- Close all of your browsers.
- Go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and remove the Rewards Mall Toolbar module.
- Empty your recycle bin.
Who do I contact if I'm experiencing problems that I can't resolve

- Were you running any other programs on your system at the time you attempted
to install the Rewards Mall Toolbar?
- Are you using a firewall or other security software, and if so, what kind?
- Do you use any anti-spyware software, and if so, what kind?
- Are you trying to download/use the Rewards Mall Toolbar from a personal computer
or a work/shared system?
